This audio track features many types of race cars like the Audi RS8, Aston Martin DBR9, Panoz Esperantie, Corvette C6-R, Saleen S7R, and the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR and many more. (I know they are not all V8s but I couldn’t help myself they all sound so great) This audio track was recorded live at Sebring International Raceway during qualifying and practice for the 12 hour race. Sebring is a great track, not much for elevation changes but a great layout with very high speed turns and is quite long at 3.7 miles. On the days of recording it was warm and humid with very high winds.

The weekend proved to be almost a wash out with steady rain. You can clearly hear the water on the race track as the cars go down the front straight, which had huge amonts of standing water. On hand that weekend were factory Corvettes, they were feeling some pressure from the Aston Martin DBR9s. Also there was the new Maserati, the TVR’s and two Spyders which looked super exotic and had a fantastic exhaust note. Additional audio on this track was recorded at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville CT.
